Ted 3 year old male Labrador Retriever





Ted is a 3 year old male Labrador Retriever who is looking for his forever home. Ted is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Ted has lived with another dog and 5 cats but does sometimes bark at them. Ted has lived with older children. Ted is fully house-trained. Ted has some recall with a whistle. Ted walks nicely on the lead. Ted can be reactive with some other dogs on walks. Ted would suit an experienced and active new adult home. Homechecks in progress, click details for updates.

Ted’s Assessment
●Ted is neutered, has been microchipped and is fully up to date with his vaccines
●Ted has no known health issues
●Ted is calm, sleeps and barks when he is left home alone
●Ted is excited to see you when you arrive home and sometimes jumps up
●Ted will sometimes follow you when you move to another room. When you are home, Ted is sometimes boisterous and wants to play if it is near his walk time and is calm and plays with the other dog the rest of the time
●Ted barks when someone knocks at the door if he doesn’t know the person
●Ted is calm while you prepare his food for him, he will only go to eat when he is told ‘go on then’. Ted sits patiently and waits until this point
●Ted currently eats before his morning walk and after his evening walk. Ted currently eats James Well Beloved in Turkey or Lamb
●Ted is fully house trained
●Ted has no formal training but knows sit, wait, don’t jump up, and recalls to whistling
●Ted walks nicely on the lead
●Ted can be reactive towards dogs who have been aggressive/threatening towards you but has never instigated aggression towards another dog
●Ted currently has lived with children over 11 years old. Ted would be suited to a family with older children as he has not lived with younger children before
●Ted has lived with other dogs before and gets on with them fine. Ted has also lived with cats and can bark at some of them and avoids them
●Ted is very loving and would love to sleep at your feet! Ted does have a dog bed but keeps his toys in it and will happily sleep on the sofa. Ted can be nervous and would suit a home who can provide him lots of time to walk, he is a big boy, with lots of energy!
●Ted has never injured another animal or a human before
