Ralph is a 4 year old male Patterdale Terrier x Jack Russell Terrier who is looking for his forever home. Ralph is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Ralph is partially house-trained. Ralph is temperamental with other dogs and is muzzled due to this on walks. Ralph has been used to visiting older children. Ralph would be best as an only pet. Ralph would be best in an adult home. ● Ralph is a 4 year old Male Patterdale x Jack Russell Terrier
● Ralph is a young boy looking for his forever home. Ralph has a loving personality at home and loves affection and to cuddle up for a nap together. Ralph has some current issues with other dogs he meets on walks and has shown aggression in the past, he would benefit greatly in a home with the time and commitment to training to help him overcome this.
● Ralph is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated
● Ralph does not have any known health issues
● Ralph is pretty relaxed and will generally sleep when left home alone
● Ralph will always be pleased to see you when you get home
● Ralph likes to be around his family and will follow you between rooms in the house
● Ralph is a very affectionate boy, he loves attention and a good cuddle
● Ralph gets excited when people come to the door and will jump and sometimes bark
● Ralph is generally calm and not particularly bothered when waiting for his food
● Ralph is currently fed twice a day, part wet foods and dry biscuits
● Ralph is partially house trained, he sometimes still has accidents
● Ralph has not had formal obedience training but knows the commands sit, come here and paw
● Ralph will sometimes pull when out walking on the lead
● Ralph can be temperamental with other dogs, currently he is a on a lead when out and about and has a muzzle – sometimes he won’t be interested in another dog and sometimes he will bark
● Ralph has shown aggression towards other dogs in the past for defensive or sometimes indiscernible reasons and has injured another dog in the past
● Ralph would therefore benefit greatly in a home with the time and commitment to train him and help him overcome these behavioural issues
● Ralph is used to having a relatively long walk once a day during the week, longer at the weekends
● Ralph has not lived with children previously although he has had older visiting children and will be excited to see them and jump up, however, Ralph has made verbal warning signs towards a child before but has not been physically aggressive
● Ralph has not had much exposure to younger children previously and would not be suitable to live with a young child in the home
● Ralph would not be suitable to live with other animals in the home
